US Cancer Management Corporation (USCMC) is currently recruiting a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Medical Administrative Assistant to join an existing team at its Rohnert Park Cancer Center location.
The ideal candidate would be a Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA with excellent communication and organizational skills, strong technical skills, and a work ethic that inspires others.
Job description includes but is not limited to:
greeting and rooming patients, charting, medical records management, processing incoming patient referrals, requesting insurance authorization, billing, ordering labs, and imaging studies, assisting nursing staff with the cleaning of fiber-optic scopes, and room turnover.
Additional duties include answering incoming phone calls from patients as well as following up with patients over the phone.
Location:
The successful candidate will work at an established stand-alone, above-ground private facility one hour north of San Francisco.
