Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, you will perform responsibilities to maximize sales and productivity.
SUPERVISES:
Store staff and volunteers.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Operations Manager to assure smooth operations.
Manage store inventory, including intake and processing of donations, stocking store, and merchandise pricing and rotation in order to achieve, or exceed, the daily production goals.
Maintain inventory quality standards; set standards for each department.
Train employees in proper work habits, job responsibilities, and policies/procedures.
Provide excellent customer service and make sure staff is also doing the same.
Doing a walk around and coming up with a list of issues needed to be addressed as well as making sure tasks get accomplished in a timely manner.
Maintain facility and grounds in a neat and clean condition at all times.
Promptly report needed repairs/replacements to the designated staff member.
Follow OSHA and Safety Standards to provide a safe work environment.
Perform cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including operation of the cash register, opening the Safe and preparing register tills as well as closing out registers.
Does daily employee break schedules and weekly employee work schedules.
Creates sales ads and promotes them on Social Media.

Qualifications:
SPANISH SPEAKING A HUGE PLUS Minimum of two years experience in a responsible supervisory/management position in the retail sales field.
Preference will be given to those with prior retail thrift management experience.
Able to supervise and train employees.
Able to positively influence and motivate assigned staff.
Computer skills in Google Mail, Sheets, Doc and Slides at a beginning to intermediate level.
Organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both in writing, and orally.
Able to lift up to and including 50 pounds.
Must have a flexible schedule and work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
